The colors in all of Belletristics' designs are completely customizable!
To make choosing your colors a little easier, Belletristics offers a color chart in PDF format for you to download and print. To ensure your colors will print as desired, please print the chart using the paper and printer you will use to print your stationery designs.
You are not limited to choosing from the colors shown in the color chart—any color can be used for your design. So if you can't find the exact color you're looking for, don't worry! Just choose the color closest to what you're looking for, and we can find the perfect color during the proofing process.
If known, you can provide the RGB, CMYK, or PMS (Pantone) number of the color(s) you'd like to use.
Choosing at least one dark color and one light color is recommended. Lighter shades may be hard to see if used for small text, and very dark shades may not work well for large areas of solid color.
Using a professional printer is recommended for photo cards or designs with a solid colored background. For a list of suggested printers, please visit Belletristics' DIY resources.
Keep in mind that all computer monitors will show colors differently, and the printed color will not match exactly what you see on the screen.
The type of printer, the printing method, and paper you print on will all affect the colors in the final design.
The only way to guarantee your colors will print the way you want is to print out a test copy using the paper and printer you will use to print your stationery.
