-first names/initials

Although save the date’s are not necessary for every wedding, they can be helpful if
you’re planning a destination wedding, have many out of town guests, or if your
wedding falls on a holiday weekend. The save the date will give your guests advanced
notice of your upcoming celebration, and allow them to plan accordingly.
Save the Date cards are generally sent 6-8 months before the wedding.
Keep in mind that if you send a save the date to someone, it’s common courtesy to follow
up with an invitation, even if said person has implied they will not attend.
Save the Dates can be in many different forms: postcards and magnets are popular styles right now, but anything goes!

save the date (pdf) this sample file is set up to print multiple copies per 8-1/2" x 11" page and crop marks are included.
To print, open the pdf file, and choose "print". In the print options dialogue box, make sure to set "Page Scaling" to "none" and that the page size is set to 8-1/2" x 11". Once the file has finished printing, use the crop marks to cut the save the date design to size (the sample file is sized at 6" x 4-1/4"). You'll want to cut just inside the crop marks to insure you won't see them on the finished design. In this save the date example, the graphic is "full bleed" meaning it extends all the way to the edge of the page. To make sure you don't end up with any white space, the full bleed design is slightly larger than the finished size of 6" x 4-1/4", and you will trim a bit of the graphic off to achieve the full bleed look.

The invitation is one of the most important stationery for your wedding! It lets your guests know all the details of your upcoming nuptials; the date, location, and time of your event. Your invitation is generally mailed out 4-6 weeks (6-8 weeks for destination weddings) before your wedding.
Your invitation can also give your guest an idea of what to expect: is it a formal black tie event, or a more laid back beach-side ceremony? Not sure how to word your invitation? Check out Belletristics' Stationery Wording Guide for tips.
You can also set the theme for your event by incorporating it into your invitation design. For example, if you're having a beach wedding with a sand dollar theme, you could use an image of a sand dollar in your design.

invitation single (pdf) this sample file is set up to print a single invitation on a 5" x7" page
invitation multiples per page (pdf) this file is set to print two invitations on an 8-1/2"x11" page and crop marks are included.
To print, open the pdf file, and choose "print". In the print options dialogue box, make sure to set "Page Scaling" to "none" and that the page size is set to 8-1/2" x 11". Once the file has finished printing, use the crop marks to cut the save the date design to size (the sample file is sized at 5" x 7").

Along with your invitation, you may also choose to include inserts with additional information about your event. The following are the most common inserts used.
Reception Card
Although reception information can be included on the actual invite, you can also use a separate card. This is particularly useful if the reception will be held at a different location than the ceremony. You'll want to include the full name and address of the reception venue, the starting time, and you could also hint at what to expect (i.e. "dinner and dancing to follow" or "champagne and cake reception at 5 o'clock").
response card
The response, or Rsvp, card allows your guests to let you know if they'll be attending. Make sure to include a "reply by" date, and to set the date at least a week before your wedding. It's common to also provide a stamped and pre-addressed envelope for your guest.
In addition to asking if your guest will attend, the response card can allow your guest to indicate the number in their party, a meal choice, if they'll attend pre/post wedding parties, or if they'll attend just the ceremony.
Directions card
Provides your guest with directions to your event. In addition to written directions, you could also provide a small map of the area if your venue is particularly hard to find.
accommodations card
Provides information on lodging for your guests. Can be useful if you'll have a large number of out of town guests or have reserved a block of rooms at local hotels. You could also include travel information or tips on what to do while in the area.

invitation suite multiples per page (pdf) this sample file is set up to print multiple inserts per 8-1/2"x11" page and crop marks are included
To print, open the pdf file, and choose "print". In the print options dialogue box, make sure to set "Page Scaling" to "none" and that the page size is set to 8-1/2" x 11". Once the file has finished printing, use the crop marks to cut the insert cards to size.

Address your invitations in style! These wrap around address labels are great for dark colored envelopes that would be difficult to write on. You can either type in your guest's address before printing (editable text boxes can be included in your design) or print and then handwrite your guest's address. It's recommended to print these designs on full sheet labels, then cut to size.
Not sure exactly how these labels work? A wrap around address label usually features some kind of pattern or design , with a space on the front to insert the recipients' address, then wraps around the envelope with the return address on the back. The design can be set up so that the return address wraps to either the left or the right.
The pictures to the right show what a standard size label (2" x 8") would look like on an A7 (5.25" x 7.25") envelope.

address labels multiples per page (word) this sample file is set up to print 5 labels per 8-1/2"x11" page, and editable text boxes are included.
To print from the pdf, open the pdf file, and choose "print". In the print options dialogue box, make sure to set "Page Scaling" to "none" and that the page size is set to 8-1/2" x 11". Once the file has finished printing, use the crop marks to cut the address labels to size (the sample file is sized at 8" x 2"). You'll want to cut just inside the crop marks to insure you won't see them on the finished design.

Instead of using a return address stamp or label, you can choose to print your return address, along with a design that matches your invitation, directly on to your envelope. You can also print the same design onto the front of your rsvp envelope.
While this can give your envelopes a professional look, depending on the type of printer you use, it may be a pain to do the printing. I highly recommend testing this method with your printer before committing to it.

Having a stack of thank you cards on hand is a must with all the gifts and help you'll receive in the months leading up to your wedding.
These printable designs come as either a flat card or a folded card. While "thank you" is a popular option for the front of the card, many couples prefer to simply use their monogram on the front of the card (allowing the thank you to double as personal stationery).
According to Emily Post, thank you notes should be written within three months of receiving a gift, or sooner, if possible. For more thank you etiquette, head over to emilypost.com and read the article "Thank You's".

Ceremony programs can consist of any number of pages, from one to a multi page booklet style program. Programs can be helpful if you're having a service with customs or traditions some of your guests may not know about. They can also allow your guests to follow along with a reading, or find out who the best man is.
Some common sections found in a program are a title area, an order of service, list of the bridal party, a short thank you note, and poems/readings.

seating chart sample (pdf) this sample file is set up to print 1 seating chart at 36" x 24". Please note: because of the large size of these files, using a professional printer or having access to a large format printer is necessary.

Traditionally, an escort card assigns the table where a couple will be seated, and is placed inside a small envelope with the couples' names on the outside. A more contemporary approach to escort cards skips the envelope, and the names and table numbers are on the card together.
A table card is the same as the modern take on the escort card: it tells guests what table to sit at.
Escort and table cards are generally set up outside of or at the entrance to the reception.
A place card is placed at the individual seats at a table and lets your guests know which seat to take at the table.
An escort or place card can be a flat card that will be used with some type of card holder, or a tented design that you will fold in half so it stands on its own.
